bi pride 2026
I volunteer with Bi Pride UK as their influencers coordinator, which means I get to email and message really cool people and ask if, pretty please, they would like to create some content with us and help us promote our charity. I started in this role this year, and that was also my very first bi pride - ever!
my role at the event wasn't as different; I was equipped with my mics and my phone and was walking around interviewing attendees about which attractions and panels they were looking forward to; some gave really cool recommendations about queer venues, spaces, and events in and around London. and I was also interviewing my fellow (event-only) volunteers, getting to know them and why they chose to join us for this event.
all in all, it was a very fun day! some friends came as well, some I wasn't even expecting to see in there. the panelists were brilliant, the performers on the main stage were superb, and the volunteers were the best!
it was a wholesome experience and I do hope to be there again in 2027! :)
